With our Teaching Internship Programme run in partnership with the University of Reading, you’ll be able to experience the teaching profession, gain vital transferable skills and be paid £300 per week for your time!

If you’re an undergraduate studying a mathematics or science degree at Reading University and are interested in teaching secondary maths or science, then the Teaching Internship programme could be for you. Internships last for four weeks and will take place during June and July 2020.

You’ll get the opportunity to experience a range of activities in great local schools to help you get a feel for school life including:

•  classroom experience, which could include: assisting with lessons and providing subject support to pupils
•  shadowing experienced teachers and observing lessons, followed by a chance to jointly plan and deliver lessons
•  one-to-one guidance from outstanding experienced teachers
